All-Star Schedule of Games

The Dizzy Dean South State tournament will begin today in four different age groups. The tournament will be contested in four different locations as well. West Point’s Park and Recreation department will be represented by three teams in three age groups. The Following is their schedules and location for this weekend.

West Point U-8 All-Stars
West Point’s U-8 All-Star will be competing in Starkville at McKee Park. The All-Stars are one of seventeen teams that are vying for a Dizzy Dean South State Championship. The tournament is double-elimination.
West Point vs. Columbus Americans 6:00 p.m.
-Winner advances in Winner’s bracket and plays Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Loser is relegated to the loser’s bracket where they will face the loser of game nine.

West Point U-10 All-Stars
The U-10 All-Stars will hit Highway 82 east to Winona where they will vie for a Dizzy Dean South State Championship. In a double-elimination formatted tournament, West Point will be amongst twelve other teams hoping to advance to the Dizzy Dean World Series in Southaven.
West Point vs. the winner of Game 2 between Caledonia and Columbus. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
Winner advances to the Saturday game set for 5:30 p.m.
Loser plays in Losers’ Bracket with a first pitch set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday

West Point U-12 All-Stars
West Point’s oldest team will compete at the Dizzy Dean South State Tournament in Columbus. West Point is one of twelve teams in the tournament.
West Point vs. Winner of Starkville/Ackerman
Winner advances to a Saturday tussle at 6:00 p.m.
Loser is relegated to the Losers’ Bracket with a 12:00 p.m. tilt.
