Pennies for puppies at Church Hill

Theresa Bailey’s class had been saving their pennies, change, and dollars for their 100th day of School Celebration. They goal was to raise $100 for the 100th day of school to go to the West Point Animal Shelter. They raised the $100 and to accept the money and to show their appreciation WPCCAS Director Lisa Henley brought puppies Merle and Miller in to visit with the Church Hill students. Their donation along with another donation aided in the Heartworm treatment of another dog named Dakota, who was very sick.

Hats and caps against bullying

Anti-Bullying week at West Point School District

Students in the West Point School District are making a stand against bullying this week. Each day students have a different theme to show their opposition to bullies. Monday, students wore white shirts or peace signs and had a Bullying Awareness Activity in first period. The weeks theme is X Out Bullying: Respect All.
