Thanks for a great year

July 1, 2013

I hopped into my Toyota Camry bright and early on Monday morning. I fought the rising sun all of the way down Lakeland Drive in Jackson until the road turned into Highway 25.

Need a good summer read? Bobby Cole delivers

June 13, 2013

I’d love to write a full-length, highly entertaining book review featuring a new Mississippi writer – at least he’s new to me. But at this very moment the only thing I can think about is going to bed so I can continue reading Bobby Cole’s latest book. Floyd fields questions at Luncheon With Books

June 6, 2013

John Floyd paid his fourth visit to the Bryan Public Library at noon Thursday. Most authors read a few pages from their newest novel or short story collection and continue with teasers about their next project. Floyd’s time during Luncheon With Books wasn’t spent talking about “Deception” or his other books, he connected with his audience in a different way. He opened up the floor for questions.
