Faye Shaw Duncan
Faye Shaw Duncan, age 80, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at The Arrington in Columbus.
She was a retired Eupora First Baptist Church secretary.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Eupora First Baptist Church with burial in the Embry Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation is 6 - 8 p.m. today at Oliver Funeral Home. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
Carsie Clark Young
Carsie Clark Young, age 77, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Calvert Funeral Home in West Point.
Calvert Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

It was an afternoon of fives for the Oak Hill Academy Diamond Raiders and their head coach, Marion Bratton.
Tuesday was Brattonâs 55th birthday. He was born at 5:55 a.m. in 1955. The game ended with an Oak Hill 6-2 win in the fifth inning, leading to a lot of high fives in the circle when the game was over.
âIt was a very sweet 55th birthday,â Bratton said. âIt was a great birthday present.â
The game ended on a time limit, just after Meg McBrayer sliced a three-run triple down the right field line to give her team the decisive win.
Hurst celebrates 91st birthday
Lena Hurst turns 91, Monday, Sept. 6. She'll be spending her special day with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a number of friends at her home.
Celebrating 20 years together

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dale and Helen Randle of West Point and the late T.J. and Maxine Harpole.
She is a 2005 graduate of Hebron Christian School and is a graduate of East Mississippi Community College with a Licensed Practical Nursing Degree.
