LOUISVILLE - Oak Hill head coach Brian Middleton said Tuesday’s victory over Winston wasn’t a season changing win, but “We had to get that mentality back.”

“We’re going to come around,” Middleton said. “One game at a time starting with Friday night against Manchester.”

Hebron Christian sweeps Calhoun, climb district table

January 18, 2012

CALHOUN CITY - The Hebron Christian Lady Eagles continued to stay among the top of the MAIS 3A standings Tuesday night with a 42-22 victory over Calhoun Academy on the road.
The Lady Eagles, 16-7, moved to 5-1 in the district behind only Kemper Academy as they look to defend their title and secure a top seed heading into the district tournament with two more games left, both on the road.
Hebron won by a large margin the last time these teams met in December, but Calhoun, who have just one win the 3A, wasn’t going to be a pushover this time.
