TIBBEE — The name of the game was scoring runs.
The Poplar Springs Blues used four runs in the ninth inning, holding off a late Tibbee rally, to claim a 13-8 win in the Tombigbee Waterway Baseball League Sunday at Roundhead Stadium in Tibbee. Despite the loss, the Ramblers still have a chance for a first-place finish in the South Division with a win against the Snowtown Stars Sunday, July 27 at Snowtown.
