Tillman’s Tae Kwon Do School is promoting four of its students to Yellow Belt rank. The students above from left are Luke Desantis, 7, Brody McBrayer, 4, Jacob Zeppani, 6 and Dixon Reed, 6. Master Tillman is very proud of the students for their hard word, effort and success. They put much into this exam. Master Tillman is offering classes to all age groups. The Oak Hill Academy Tennis team opened their season in West Point on Tuesday afternoon against conference 2-AA foe Leake Academy. The Lady Raiders and Raiders won the team match 7-2 over Leake. The Raiders picked up all four possible points while the Lady Raiders split their points with the Rebelletes.

The West Point Lady Wave softball team took on Oxford for the second time in district 2-5A play. After a 5-1 loss to the Lady Chargers in Oxford, the Lady Wave were hoping to return the favor this time in West Point Tuesday night.

Baylor wishes they could have Easter Sunday back. Just hours after their Louisville male counterparts manhandled the Duke Blue Devils on Easter Sunday to advance to the Men’s Final Four, the Louisville women continued their March Madness journey in attempting to do the same, by defeating the #1 ranked Baylor Bears, 82-81, in what many are calling the greatest upset in college women’s basketball history. Baylor’s star phenom Brittney Griner saw her stellar college career come to a resounding halt, in what was a game she will not soon forget.
