MSU claims Super Regional win

June 10, 2013

The Mississippi State Bulldogs left little doubt they are one of the best teams in the country this year, as they swept the #6 national seed University of Virginia Cavaliers 2 games to none on their own home turf in Charlottesville to advance to the 2013 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, next weekend. The trip to Omaha will be the ninth for the Bulldogs in school history, the first since 2007, and the first in the five year regime with Coach John Cohen at the helm.
