It was only a matter of time before the Raiders came into form.
With 13 healthy players on the roster now, including all four seniors, Oak Hill is primed to hit their stride going into the district season.
In their best performance of the year, the Raiders proved they will be district title contenders in a convincing 62-46 win over Immanuel. Several players made huge contributions in the Tuesday night contest.
Oak Hill started off on the right foot in district play with a Tuesday night sweep of Immanuel.
The Lady Raiders won convincingly in a 53-11 pounding of the Lady Rams to begin their chase for a district championship. Oak Hill distributed the scoring load all throughout the roster and forced 30 turnovers while committing only 10 of their own. Immanuel had no answers for the Lady Raiders, who were scoring at will. Oak Hill, now 7-2 on the year, advanced to 1-0 in conference play and will face Winston Academy in Louisville Friday night.
West Point traveled to Aberdeen in their first true road test. In a game that was closely contested, Aberdeen was able to pull away in the second half to go on to win 88-66.
The Lady Wave needed to find a way to stop their losing skid. In Aberdeen Friday night, West Point put in a great team effort and defeated the Lady Bulldogs 49-11.
