The football field at North Delta School grew eerily quiet; an Oak Hill player had gone down and did not look like he was getting back up. The opening round MAIS AA playoff game had been paused to attend to the fallen player. Soon the realization that an ambulance and helicopter had been called made the situation even more desperate.
On a routine tackle, Jeb Stevens found himself injured, a situation he never expected.
â€śI did not know what to think,â€ť commented Stevens, â€śWhen they said it was severe enough to bring a helicopter, it really scared me.â€ť
