OHA beats Colonels at home

December 21, 2012

How sweet revenge can be. 10 days after a tough road loss at Indianola, the Raiders got their chance to take it to the Colonels, and boy, did they take advantage. Oak Hill played fearless and smart the whole night, never scoring less than 14 points in every quarter while holding Indianola to only 11 points in the second half on route to a 65-38 statement win for the 10-5 Raiders heading into the holiday break.

Lady Raiders outlast Indianola

December 21, 2012

Thursday night, Oak Hill played their second contest against Indianola within a 10-day span. After a close contest between the Lady Raiders and Lady Colonels, this matchup on Oak Hill’s home court was expected to be another barn burner. The fans certainly did not go home disappointed after the Lady Raiders’ 34-31 defensive battle. In the lowest scoring game of the season thus far, Oak Hill showed its grit and toughness and secured the win through tenacious defense and adjusting to the slow pace of the game.
