CARROLLTON - A second half onslaught Thursday night helped the Oak Hill Raiders to a 70-37 win over Benton Academy in the Carroll Academy Christmas tournament.
Leading 26-24 at the half, the Raiders 11-6, outscored Benton 44-13 in the second half to lead them to victory.
"We looked a little sloppy in the first half," head coach Brian Middleton said. "We went on a run midway throughout the third quarter and played a lot better defensively."
STEENS - Six minute quarters could have hurt or helped the Hebron Lady Eagles Wednesday afternoon.
Either way, it didn’t matter as the girls notched their third win in a row with a 36-21 win over Vardaman in the Immanuel Center for Christian Education Holiday tournament.
Due to time constraints, the games were played within an hour time limit.
