West Point sweeps Whippets

November 14, 2011

KOSCIUSKO – First year head girls basketball coach Murray Woody is pleased with his 2-2 record so far season. After playing their fourth game in eight days Saturday, the girls notched another victory, 57-45 over Kosciusko.

Woody talked about before the game how important it was for the girls to execute, they did that early and often. Each team had a dozen in the slow paced first quarter, but with the Lady Whippets playing in zone, Woody quickly pulled them out to build up a lead.
