West Point seventh grade team ends bout with Columbus in 8-8 tie

Last week, the West Point Junior High football seventh grade team fought Noxubee County in a gritty game of defense. That game ended in a 0-0 tie.
This week, the seventh grade team was at it again, and the Thursday night home battle against Columbus turned out to be another tie ball game, ending in an 8-8 tie.
West Point fullback Dameon Lee provided the only scoring for the Green Wave in the game, beating the Falcon defenders to the end zone for a five yard touchdown rush.

Coaches: Oak Hill-Hebron Game “Very Important”

Year number two of the series between the Oak Hill Academy Raiders and Hebron Christian Eagles football teams was completed on Friday night.
The crowds were ever present on the home and visitor sides, as fans from across the county came out to watch the two close communities battle it out in the building Clay County rivalry.
Last year, Hebron traveled to Oak Hill, and they were defeated 14-0. This year, they were hosting, and they wanted a little revenge.

Raiders notch first win in 46-12 rout of Hebron

Last Friday night, the Benton Academy Raiders (1-3) came to Phebe to take on the Eagles of Hebron Christian School (1-4), and they scored 46 points off the Eagle defense and special teams.
Two nights ago, a different set of Raiders came to Hebron, but they brought the same results.
The Oak Hill Academy Raiders (1-4) brought their best play of the season to the Eagles’ field, and they defeated Hebron 46-12.
