Early mistakes proved to be costly and decisive in Monday night’s cross-county rivalry between the Hebron Christian Lady Eagles and the Lady Raiders of Oak Hill Academy.
The Lady Raiders made the trip out to Hebron, but the short drive did not have any lasting affects, as they downed the Lady Eagles 8-3 in the end.
In the first inning, it looked like Hebron starter Beverly Blake was going to escape trouble. Two Lady Raiders were on, but there were two outs in the inning.
