Raiders still alive, as Kirk gets set to come to town

Last Friday night’s Oak Hill-Manchester match up was dubbed the most important game of the year for the Raiders up until that date. Oak hill was going into the road match 2-5, with a 1-0 conference record.
A win meant a secured post-season spot. A loss meant Oak Hill would have to beat Winston, on the road, in the final game of the season to get in they playoffs.
As it turned out, Manchester got their first win of the season on Friday, after starting the season 0-6.

Green Wave hit the road to face Lake Cormorant

The Green Wave of West Point (6-1; 3-0) are currently riding a four-game winning streak, after defeating Oxford in a close 22-20 home match on Friday.
That game improved their district standings to a perfect 3-0, and they will be looking to make that a perfect four this week, as they hit the road to take on Lake Cormorant (5-2; 2-1).
The Gators dropped a district match for the first time last Friday, as they were shut out by New Hope 21-0.
In a tough conference battle, both of these teams will be vying for a playoff spot on Friday.

Eagles to face Immanuel in district showdown

The Hebron Christian Eagles (1-6; 0-1) are still alive in the playoff hunt. They are going to have to find a way to win against Immanuel (3-5; 0-1) this week if they are going to remain alive.
Hopeful of getting their last two conference wins, the Eagles will be facing a Rams team that has won two of its last three.
“Immanuel is very improved,” said Hebron head coach Gregg Watkins. “They’ve got three wins now, and they have a lot of confidence.”
