Nina “Faye” Barnes age 70, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus.
A celebration of her life will take place tonight, Friday, February 8, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Old White Road.
She leaves behind two sisters, Renette Gaskin and Debra Caspell, and significant other, Jerome Nolan.

Robbie Mary Morton age 87, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013. at West Point Community Living Center.
Funeral services are Friday, February 8, 2013, at noon from Towncreek M.B. Church with the Rev. Charles Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Towncreek M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today, Thursday, February 7, 2013, from 3 – 6 p.m. from Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel.

Douglas Ellis Ward age 69, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center of Tupelo.
Funeral services are Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. from Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Abbott Cemetery.

Joey DeLaine Langford age 44, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center West Point.
Joey DeLaine Langford was born June 26, 1968, in West Point, to Etta Louise Taylor Whitehead and the late Marvin DeLain Langford. Joey Langford was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Funeral services are Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church with the Bro. Ben Yarber officiating, assisted by Bro. John Sevier. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery of Cairo.Â

Anna Dell Edwards McCary, age 88, passed away, on Monday, January 28, 2013, at West Point Community Living Center, in West Point. Mrs. McCary was born November 2, 1924, in Crawford, Miss., to the late Eva Upton and John Edwards. She was a Homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church. Anna Dell Edwards McCary married Harry Lester McCary April 25, 1940, who preceded her in death on June 1, 1998.

Jack Tullos Tennyson age 20, of Eupora, passed away Saturday January 19, 2013, at Scott and White Trauma Center in Temple, Texas.
J.T. Tennyson was born November 11, 1992, in Eupora. He graduated from Ackerman High School where he played football and was a member of the FFA.
Funeral services for Mr. Tennyson are today, Friday January 25, 2013, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Bro. Rob Faulk and Bro. Curtis Guess officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
