Susanne Miller Campbell
Susanne Miller Campbell, age 86, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Mrs. Campbell was born Mar. 14, 1924, in Delray Beach, Fla., to the late George L. Miller Sr. and Katie Dominick. She moved to West Point at the age of five and had been a resident ever since.
Hattie B. Smith
Hattie B. Smith, a resident of Chicago, Ill., and a native of the Rockhill Community of Starkville, passed away in Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at Leak and Sons Funeral Chapel in Chicago, Ill.
There will be a viewing and a brief devotional service Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Rockhill United Methodist Church, located in the Rockhill Community of Starkville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Carter Funeral Home of West Point and Leak and Sons Funeral Chapel of Chicago, Ill., are in charge of arrangements.

Pearl M. Moore, age 98, passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Floy Dyer Nursing Home in Houston, Miss.
Funeral services are Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at 1 p.m. from Second Baptist M.B. Church in Houston, Miss., with the Rev. Eugene Brandon officiating.
Visitation is Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, from 11 a.m. until service time at Second Baptist M.B. Church.

Roberta Deans, age 103, passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Hopewell M.B. Church in Cedar Bluff, with the Rev. Eugene Brandon officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.
Carter's Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara Wilcomb Richardson
Barbara Wilcomb Richardson, age 89, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at her home in West Point.
Barbara Wilcomb Richardson was born Dec. 10, 1920, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, to the late Mildred Frazier and Archibald Daniel Wilcomb. Mrs. Richardson graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. She attended the University of Vermont and received a degree in home economics. She also obtained and advanced degree from the New Your Institute of Dietetics.
Mrs. Richardson married the late Judson Cromwell Richardson Jr. of Leominister, Mass. on Nov. 11, 1944.

Charles B. "Charlie" Cliett Sr., age 86, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point.

Myrtle Langley Rutherford
Myrtle Langley Rutherford, age 88, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, Miss.
Mrs. Rutherford was born Oct. 5, 1922, to the late Frank and Ella Alford Langley of Thorn, Miss.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Rutherford of West Point, Miss.; two sisters: Evelyn Miller and Annie Applewhite both of West Point, Miss.; a step-daughter, Bobbie Hadley of Alpharetta, Ga.; and special nieces: Betty McCoy and Jewell Cartwright.
Mrs. Rutherford was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

Miriam Ivy went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, in Ludlow Miss., at the age of 94.
Funeral services are today, Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. M.L. Wallace officiating. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at Robinson Funeral Home.
Menre Collins Jr.
Menre Collins Jr., age 62, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at West Point Community Living Center.
Funeral services are Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel, with the Rev. Homer Cannon officiating.
In lieu of visitation the Guest Registry Book may be signed on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
