Evie Watson, age 104, passed away at her home Monday, March 4, 2013.
Mrs. Watson was born February 28, 1909, to the late Hattie Ophelia Murphy McDougal and Edward Monroe McDougal in Cedar Bluff. She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church. She married Oscar Lee Watson July 3, 1926, and were united for 66 years until his death July 17, 1992.
Funeral services are Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Samuel Burns officiating, assisted by Bro. Todd Chesser. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian
Cemetery.
Inez Naugle Caradine, age 81, went on to be with the Lord Monday, March 4, 2013 at her home in the Caradine community.

Donna M. Baker age 76, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Donna Marie Lindenberger was born March 11, 1936, in Corry, Penn., to the late Zelma
Thorton and Aloyios Rudolph Lindenberger. She was an assistant to the “Sign Artist” Denver D. Baker for 57 years. She attended Bible Baptist Church. She married Denver Dean Baker October 15, 1952, in Corry, Penn. He preceded her in death February 13, 2010.
Evelyn Prescott Brewer age 74, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Evelyn Brewer was born April 28, 1938, in Webster County, to the late Iler Beecher Woods and Woodrow Wilson Prescott. Mrs. Brewer was a homemaker and a member of Hope Baptist Church. Funeral services are Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church with the Bro. Barry Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
Miss Polly passed away Thursday February 28, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point at the age of 90.
She was born September 25, 1922, in Houston, to the late Agnes Larkin and William Jahugh Mixon. She and her husband owned Drane Hardware in Sturgis. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and active in United Methodist Women and a member of the Wesley Wasson Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Eastern Star and on the board of Dugan’s Memorial Home. She volunteered at the Henry Clay Retirement Home where she was a resident since 1995.
Charlie Sawyer age 70, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Culpepper officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is today, Friday, March 1, 2013, fro 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel.

Arleder Clark-Christian age 91, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, at her home in Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services were Thursday, February 29, 2013, in Chicago, Ill.
Visitation is Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 1 – 3 p.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel. Burial will follow the visitation in Johnson Creek M.B. Church Cemetery.

Marie Martin age 96, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at her home.
Marie Martin was born December 18, 2013, in Marietta, to Henry Edwards Mills and Oma Lee Evans. She
retired from Franklin Furniture Factory as an instructor seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services were Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. from Southern Funeral Chapel in Houston with Bro. Ben Yarber officiating. Burial followed in Arbor Grove Cemetery.
