Martha Louise Bynum
Martha Louise Bynum, age 55, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at 1 p.m. from Third Mt. Olive M.B. Church, with the Rev. Al Lathan Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood M.B. Church Cemetery in West Point.
Visitation is today, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.
Carter's Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Alexander Gerdine
Robert Alexander Gerdine, age 98, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, in Denver, Colo.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Zion Baptist Church in Denver, Colo.
Caldwell-Kirk Mortuary of Denver, Colo. was in charge of arrangements.

Shirley Lynn Pollan
Shirley Lynn Pollan, age 58, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, after an extended illness in West Point.
Shirley Lynn Gatlin Pollan was born Nov. 24, 1952, in Eupora, Miss., to the late Adney Sibley and Thurman Gatlin. Her grandparents, Wiley and Iva Sibley of Eupora, Miss., also predeceased her. Shirley Pollan was a bank teller working for Renasant, Peoples Place and Clay County Bank & Trust for 32 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Eupora, Miss.

Betty Jo Redwine
Betty Jo Redwine, age 74, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Mrs. Redwine was born Dec. 4, 1936, to the late Johnnie C. Thompson and Giffie Lou Little in Tishomingo County. Mrs. Redwine was a former employee of the B&W Credit Union where she was the Assistant Manager. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was very active in the church activities.
Mae White
Mae White, 87, passed away, Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Cleveland Personal Care, Cleveland.
She was born September 23, 1924 in Millport, Lamar County to the late Gerzie Mae Miller and Clarence Valcus Billingsley Mrs. White was a West Point School System Bus Driver & School Lunch for 18 years. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Payton Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden West Point, Mississippi. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
James A. Clardy
James A. Clardy, 82, passed away, January 24, 2011, at his home near West Point.
James A. Clardy was born February 2, 1928, in Choctaw County, Mississippi, to the late Katie Lou Allen and Lonnie L. Clardy. Mr. Clardy was a Welder at Babcock & Wilcox Company in West Point for 31 years. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Mission and the West Point Masonic Lodge #40 F & AM.
Funeral services will be January 26, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jim Sallee

Cora White Strickland
Cora White Strickland died Friday, January 21, 2011 at her home following a lengthy illness. She
was born May 25, 1922 to Fannie Powell White and Abe White in Pheba, Mississippi. She was a lifetime member of
Pheba Baptist Church and an active member of her community as long as her health permitted.
Services will be Sunday, January 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point, Mississippi with Rev. B.F. Lee and Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at the Pheba Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Gresta H. Stafford
Gresta H. Stafford, 81, passed away, January 21, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Mrs. Gresta was born August 4, 1929, in Marietta, Mississippi to the late Earline Hester and Vinny Hopper.
Mrs. Gresta was a Registered Nurse, retiring after 30 years with the Mississippi State Board of Health where she served as a District Supervisor. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Mrs. Gresta married William Edwin Stafford May
8, 1952, and he predeceased her on December 27, 1997.

Anne G. Millsaps, 77, passed away, Friday, January 21, 2011 Dugan Memorial Home, West
Point.. Anne G. Millsaps was born March 18, 1933 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the late Ruth Wilson and Finis Young Owens. Mrs. Millsaps was a Bookkeeper Southern Inn Motel & Manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken in West Point for
number of years. Anne G. Millsaps was a member of attended Riverside Baptist Church.
