Leomia Merritt Carr, age 86, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, La.
Funeral services are Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. from New Hebron M.B. Church in Egypt. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, April 27, 2012, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Okolona.
Carter Funeral Home of Okolona is in charge of arrangements.

James Thomas Garrard Jr., age 81, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, in Hattiesburg.
James Thomas Garrard Jr., was a member of First Baptist Church of Wiggins, and transportation coordinator for Charles Evans Trucking. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Garrard was preceded in death by his parents: James Thomas Garrard Sr., and Dicye Carolyn (Gregg) Garrard; and brother, Gene Lionel Garrard.

Roye Green, age 84, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Emeritus Assisted Living Center, in Biloxi.
Roye Green was born April 1, 1927, in Tibbee, to the late Iona Bonds Green and Alexander Stewart Green. Mr. Green was a retired Vice President of Construction/Maintenance and Engineering at Sara Lee/Bryan
Foods. He was a member of First Baptist Church in West Point. He was a proud Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, having served during WW II.

Lucille Fields Klutts, age 97, passed away, Monday, April 16, 2012, at West Point Community Living Center, in West Point.
Mamie Lucille Klutts was born Nov. 26, 1914, in Millport, Ala., to the late Lee Smith Fields and James Shannon Fields. She was a machine operator at Knickerbocker, MFG for 20 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mamie Lucille Fields Klutts married Marshall Roland Klutts Jan. 9, 1935, in Columbus, he preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1999.
