Rev. Larry Clay, age 56, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014.
Funeral services are Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 1 p.m. from Miller Chapel M.B. Church in Macon. Burial will follow in Little Member Cemetery in Macon.
Visitation is today, Friday, May 2, 2014, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Prairie Point M.B. Church of Macon.
Dotson Funeral Home of Weir is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Brown White

May 1, 2014

Beatrice Brown White, age 78, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, at Darlington Oaks in Verona.
She was born June 4, 1945, in Pheba. She worked in childcare and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
A graveside service was 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
Pallbearers were Mike Murray, Josh Hazlewood, Robbie Brown, Allen Brown, and Tyler Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were NMMC – Hospice staff, Darlington Oaks staff and her caregiver Sinthia Cherry.

Sarah Louise Ervin Posley, age 90, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014.
Funeral services are Friday, May 2, 2014, at 1 p.m. from St. Paul M.B. Church with the Rev. Eddie A. Longstreet officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is today, Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel.
Carter’s Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements.

James R. ‘Jim’ Jolly

James R. ““Jim“” Jolly, age 41, of West Point, passed away Monday, April 18, 2014, at his home.
Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, April 28, 2014, at 6 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home in West Point.
Visitation is 5 – 6 p.m. Monday prior to service.
Complete arrangements will be announced at a later date by Calvert Funeral Home.

M. Dean Andrews

Mr. M. Dean Andrews, 59, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Dean was born April 13, 1955, in West Point the son of the late Melvin and Melba Wilson Andrews. He was a Baptist and was retired from Bacco Materials, where he worked in the weigh in station.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Andrews (Kyong) of West Point; nieces: Amanda Thrash of West Point and Amy Andrews of Chattanooga, Tenn.; nephew: Todd Andrews of Columbus; aunts: Linda Wilson and Jackie Wilson both

Charles Hamilton, 67, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 in West Point.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Northside Christian Church, with Rev. Orlando Richmond, officiating. Burial will follow in Plair Cemetery, Starkville.
Visitation is today, Thursday, April 24, 2014 from noon - 6 p.m. at West Memorial Chapel, Starkville.

James M. Fields

James M. Fields, 76, passed away April 18, 2014, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
Mr. James was born May 27, 1937, in Maben, the son of the late O.D. and Cora Mae Langford Fields. He worked in maintenance at General Tire in Columbus for 32 years. He was a Baptist. He married Margret Schmidt Fields in Sept. 1984 in Columbus.
Graveside services are Friday, April 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. from Greenwood Cemetery in West Point with Pastor Bobby Richardson officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

M. Dean Andrews, Age 59, of West Point, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Visitation is Saturday, April 26, 2014, from noon - 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point.

Harrison Lee Mosley

April 23, 2014

Harrison Lee Mosley, age 71, passed away Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, after a nearly four year battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 20, 1942, in Bay County, Florida to Arvie Lee and Rosa Lee Mosley, both deceased of DeFuniak Springs, Fla. Mr. Mosley had lived most of his life in Escambia and Walton County, Fla., but also lived in Baldwin County, Ala., and Clay County. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and a very compassionate and giving person and servant of God.
