Marcus R. Sims, age 60, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East, in Memphis, Tenn.
Marcus Randolph Sims was born October 18, 1952, in Bay Springs, to the late Kathryn McMullen and Quitman Reid Sims. Marcus worked with C. C. Clark Land and Wildlife as a manager since 2007. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Marcus R. Sims married Donna Leah DeLoach November 19, 1972, at Siloam.

Mable Corrine Brownlee age 83, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point.
Funeral services are Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. from St. Paul Beasley C.M.E. Church with the Rev. Willie J. Mays Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Lower Prairie Creek Cemetery.
Visitation is today, Friday, February 8, 2013, fro 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel.

Nina “Faye” Barnes age 70, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus.
A celebration of her life will take place tonight, Friday, February 8, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Old White Road.
She leaves behind two sisters, Renette Gaskin and Debra Caspell, and significant other, Jerome Nolan.

Joey DeLaine Langford age 44, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center West Point.
Joey DeLaine Langford was born June 26, 1968, in West Point, to Etta Louise Taylor Whitehead and the late Marvin DeLain Langford. Joey Langford was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Funeral services are Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church with the Bro. Ben Yarber officiating, assisted by Bro. John Sevier. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery of Cairo.Â
