June 3rd
Funeral services for William “Pete” Ezell, 71, of Petal, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Hulett-Winstead Chapel in Hattisburg. He died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at his residence. Interment will follow in East Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Leakesville, at 1 p.m.
Mr. Ezell was a retired grocery manager formerly employed with Kroger Food Store, an avid bowler, and a die hard Mississippi State Bulldogs and New York Yankees fan. He was a member of New Zion Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Deneise Ezell and his parents, Pat and Mary Ezell.
Flora Mae Fulgham, passed away June 2, 2013, in Starkville.
She was a homemaker and a member of Self Creek Baptist Church, where she was a church nursery worker and Sunday school teacher. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Alta Early; husband, P.D. Fulgham; sisters, Barbara Linn, Peggy Quinn and Ellen Morgan.
Brenda Andrews Thrash, age 50, of West Point, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point.
Funeral Services are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.

A devoted wife of 53 years, a loving mother and grandmother and a dedicated teacher, Marilyn Elaine Scoggins Doolittle, born December 1, 1942 in Ragland, Alabama, passed away at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, May 31, 2013 at the age of 70.

Funeral services are Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. from Union M.B. Church. Burial will follow in Union M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 4 – 6 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

Joey Bernard Bell age 44, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services are today, Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. from St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Leroy Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Memorial Gardens.
