Peggy Elizabeth Buttrey
Peggy Elizabeth Buttrey, age 75, of Lebanon, Mo., formerly of West Point, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, in Lebanon, Mo.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, in Life Point Church in Lebanon, Mo.
Graveside service and burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, in Wilmington, N.C., under direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Mo.
Memorial donations to Mercy Hospice may be made through Holman-Howe Funeral Home, P. O. Box 28, Lebanon, Missouri 65536.
Pauline White Johnson
Pauline White Johnson, age 88, passed away, Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center, in West Point. Lois Pauline Johnson was born Dec. 8, 1923, in Tupelo, to the late Annie Laurie Raburn and James W. White. She was a Seamstress-Clerk at Reed's Department Store in Tupelo for many years and was a member of West End Baptist Church. Pauline White Johnson married Johnny Purvis Johnson Dec. 3, 1945, West Point, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1970.
Lizzie M. Poe
Lizzie M. Poe, age 61, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point.
Funeral services are Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Pisgah Waverly M.B. Church, with the Rev. Bobby Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is today, Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. from 3-6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.

Frank R. Ivy
Frank R. Ivy, age 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at his Savannah, Ga., residence with his family at his bedside, under the care of Hospice Savannah. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Susan Ivy McCrory of Charlotte, N.C. in 2009.

Howard Walker, age 94, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Zion Whites M.B. Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Whites M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, from 4-6 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

James Curtis Peoples
James Curtis Peoples, age 53, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services are Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel, with the Rev. Calvin Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Beth Millsaps Brantley, age 67, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Dugan Memorial Home, in West Point.
Helen Hazlewood Clifton
Helen Hazlewood Clifton, age 89, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center, in West Point. She was born May 18, 1923, in Union County, to the late Lula Crumpton and John Fernando Herring. Mrs. Clifton was a Nurses Aide at Ivy Memorial Hospital and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Husbands, Sidney Earl Hazlewood, Nov. 10, 1969, and Thomas K. Clifton, Aug. 13, 1993, preceded her in death.
Azzie Shaw
Azzie Shaw, age 94, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Coffeeville. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery in Coffeeville.
