Gladys B. Powell Elliott, age 88, of West Point, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Miss.
Gladys was born Jan. 24, 1923, in Clay County to the late Mattie Mae Andrews and William Raymond Blankenship. She was a member of First Baptist Church in West Point.

John Henry Hill, age 88, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Calhoun Health Services of Calhoun City, Miss.
Funeral services are Saturday, June 18, 2011, at noon from the Midway M.B. Church in Vardaman, Pastor Glendon R. Ball will officiate.
Visitation is at Midway M.B. Church, Saturday, June 18, 2011, from 10 a.m. until service time.

Donna Brewer Bryan
Donna Brewer Bryan, age 68, passed away, Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her home in Starkville, Miss.
Donna Brewer Bryan was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Pheba, Miss., to the late Imogene Millsaps Brewer and Walker Green Brewer. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She played the piano in her early years at Hebron Baptist, later she taught the Ladies of Grace Sunday School Class at Fellowship Baptist; she dedicated her life to the Lord. Donna Brewer Bryan married Richard C. Bryan Sr., May 14, 1961, at Hebron Baptist Church.

Charlie Davis Sr., age 89, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, Miss.
Funeral services are Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Hermon M.B. Church, with the Rev. Israel Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Strong Hill M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday, June 13, 2011, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.

Arthur Lee O'Neal, age 69, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point.
Funeral services are Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Oak Grove M.B. Church in Columbus, Miss., Pastor Thomas Cunningham will be officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove M.B. Church Cemetery.

Anthony Echoles, age 40, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Care Center of Mobile, Ala.
Funeral services are today, Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 11 a.m. from The Civic in West Point, Pastor L.T. Gathings will be officiating. Burial will follow in Yeats Cemetery.
Visitation is today, at The Civic, at 10 a.m., one hour prior to services.

Shayne McClure, 48, passed away, on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the North MS Medical Center,
in West Point. Michael Shayne McClure was born December 24, 1962 in West Point, Mississippi to Phyllis McLemore
Murphy and Walter Raymond McClure, III. Shayne worked at Sanderson Plumbing as a Shuttle Driver and before at
Bryan Foods a number of years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Shayne McClure married Cynthia
Genevieve Elkins on December 6, 1986, in West Point.
Scott Moore
Scott Moore, age 42, of Macon, died Monday June 6, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Macon. Interment will be in Moore Cemetery near Macon. Visitation is today, at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon, from 6 - 8 p.m.
