David Winfield
David Winfield, age 68, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the North MS Medical Center, in West Point.
David Winfield was born June 2, 1943, in the Waddell Community of Clay County to the late Lena Mae Langford Winfield and George Alexander Winfield. Mr. Winfield was a Former Supervisor of District 5 Clay County for 24 years. He was of
the Baptist Faith. David Winfield married Peggy Compton Winfield on August 3, 1963, in Cedar Bluff at her parents home.
Thomas Leroy Stone
Thomas Leroy Stone, age 75, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center, in West Point. Thomas Leroy Stone was born June 11, 1935, in to the late Florence Mixon Stone and William Travis Stone, Sr.
He was a truck driver. Mr. Stone attended the Baptist Church. He had served in the Mississippi Army National Guard several years. Thomas Leroy Stone was married to Dorothy Ereline Miller Stone who preceded him in death October 26, 2010.
Karen Fairley
Beverly Karen Fairley, age 58, of West Point, Miss., passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, at her residence.
Beverly Karen Fairley was born Nov. 15, 1952, in Indianola, Miss., to the late Cora Matheny and Walter Fairley. She worked for the Department of Human Services. She loved visiting with friends and family and she was affectionately called Grammy by her grandchildren.
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Palo Alto Cemetery in Clay County.
Delma Lucille Snyder Cliett
Delma Lucille Snyder Cliett, age 91, of Starkville, Miss., passed away at Starkville Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, June 4, 2011. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church .
Mrs. Cliett was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell Cliett, and a daughter, Ann Cliett Palmer.
Mrs. Cliett is survived by her granddaughters: Dr. Kimberly Ray of Madison, Miss.; and Kelley Black of Louisville, Miss.; grandsons, Russ Palmer of Starkville, Miss.; and Brian Palmer of Huntsville, Ala.; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Robert Jolly
Robert Emmitt Jolly, age 56, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2011. Funeral services were Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko, Miss. Burial followed in Ebenezer Cemetery in Leake County.
Mr. Jolly was preceded in death by his mother, Mollie W. Jolly; two sisters: Linda Smith and Cheryl Goode; niece, Ashley Goode; and aunt, Hazel Jolly.
Kenneth Bryan “Shoe” Juckes
Kenneth Bryan “Shoe” Juckes, age 53, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, in McCondy, Miss.
Mr. Juckes was born Jan. 13, 1958, in Canada to Winston Bryan “Bing” Juckes and Margaret Wilda Moore Juckes. He was owner/operator of Shoe Transport and a retired professional jockey. He never met a stranger. He was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest.
Funeral services are today, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Houston Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Lampkin officiating. Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Miss., is in charge of the arrangements.
