Fred E. Hargrove
Fred E. Hargrove, age 60, passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2011, at his home in West Point.
Fred Eugene Hargrove was born April 21, 1951, in Memphis, Tenn., to Lois Elizabeth Carpenter Hargrove and the late Andrew Harold Hargrove. Mr. Hargrove was a lumber inspector for Seitz Lumber Company for 14 years and also a truck driver.
Mr. Hargrove was a member of First Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a loving family man. Fred Eugene Hargrove married Deborah Kesler Hargrove on June 26, 1976, in Abbeville, Miss.
Bessie Long Hewlett
Bessie Long Hewlett, age 83, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011, at her residence in Oxford. Miss.
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at 2 p.m. from Clear Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Lipe officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
Visitation is today, at 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Waller Funeral Home of Oxford.
Born in West Point, Miss., Mrs. Hewlett was a homemaker and a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church in Oxford, Miss. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Wayne Long and Jimmy Larry Long.
