David Oliver Malone
David Oliver Malone, age 63, passed away, Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, on Hwy. 50 East, near West Point.
David Oliver Malone was born February 6, 1948, in Caledonia, to the late Jewel Watson and Edward Floyd Malone. Mr. Malone was the Marketing co-ordinator for CECO Mfg. for 40 years. He was a member of the Church of the Incarnation. David Oliver Malone married Linda Lowry Malone Sept. 30, 1972, in West Point.
Sam Calvert
Sam Calvert, age 82, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at his home.
Funeral services are Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at 1 p.m. from Hopewell M.B. Church, with the Rev. Carl Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 2 – 5 p.m. from Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.

David Nixon Croft
David Nixon Croft, age 72, passed away, Friday, Oct. 28, 2011. at his home in Cedar Bluff.
David Nixon Croft was born March 10, 1939, in Noxubee County, to the late Lula Belle Bledsoe and Edgar Agnew Croft. David Nixon Croft was employed with Bryan Foods as a truck driver for 7 years, then with Babcock & Wilcox Co. as a "B" Fitter for 25 years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in West Point. David Nixon Croft married Nona Beth Noblin Croft March 11, 1961, in Reform, Ala
Brian Keith Beckner
Brian Keith Beckner, age 46, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at his residence.
Brian Keith Beckner was born Nov. 23, 1964, in Modesto, Calf., to Everett Beckner and the late Henrietta VanDykhuizen Kehuisen. He attended Riverside Baptist Church and was a mechanic for H & O Truck Repair, and loved to ride motorcycles.
Funeral services are Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Robinson Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Sallee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Brian Keith Beckner, age 46, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at his residence.

Delois Townsend, age 58, passed away in an automobile accident Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, in Houston.
Funeral services are Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at 2 p.m. from Lower Prairie Creek M.B. Church. Burial will follow in Lower Prairie Creek M.B. Church Cemetery.
Their will be no public visitation.

Betty Jane Temple, age 77, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are today, Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Third Mt. Olive M.B. Church, with the Rev. Al Lathan Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Bertha Mae “NIG” Mosley
Bertha Mae Mosley, age 90, passed away Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at her home.
Funeral services are Saturday, Ocr. 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Johnson Creek M.B. Church, with the Rev. Bruce H. Guyton officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson CreeK M.B. Church Cemetery.

Wayne Clements
Wayne Clements, 73, passed away, on Monday, October 17, 2011, at the West Point Community Living Center in West Point.
Robert Wayne Clements was born October 22, 1937, in Clay County, Mississippi, to the late Maudie Lee Morgan and George Robert Clements. He was a retired Machinist for Babcock and Wilcox Company for 37 years. Mr. Clements was a member of Church of Christ-East Columbus. Robert Wayne Clements married Janette Doss Hamblin Clements September 13, 1986, in Clay County.

Mary Ann Dahlem Beckwith
Mary Ann Dahlem Beckwith, age 64, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Community Hospice, in Verona, Miss. Mary Ann Beckwith was born June 14, 1947, in Aberdeen, Miss., to the late Eva Lee Willis Mask Dahlem and Collie Kristopher Dahle. Mrs. Beckwith worked on the support staff as a secretary for Watkins, Ward Stafford CPA, from July 1982 until Aug., 2011, and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Beckwith was a graduating member of the Class of 1965 at Aberdeen High School. She loved her cats and dogs.
