Frances Kendrick Linley
Frances Kendrick Linley, age 77, passed away, Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, North Mississippi Medical Center, in West Point. Frances Kendrick Linley was born June 14, 1933, in Smithville, Miss., to the late Era Mae Lovvorn and Luther Kendrick.
She worked for Monte Glove Manufacturing in Maben, Miss., for a number of years and she was a member of Church of Living Water. She married Raymond E. Linley in 1976.
Mary Ruth Bedford Hemphill
Mary Ruth Bedford Hemphill, age 91, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at Dugan Memorial Home in West Point. She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Pratt, Miss. Mrs. Hemphill was a teacher and a member of First Baptist Church. She was active in girl scout leadership and in PTA when her children were younger. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
A private family service is Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, with the Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
