David Lee Albright
David Lee Albright, age 50, passed away, Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, in the Tibbee Community.
He was born Aug. 2, 1960, in Flint, Mich., to the late Charlotte Faye McCraw and John Rufus Albright.
He was a golf cart technician.
No services or visitation will be held; Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three sons: Ryan David Albright of West Palm Beach, Fla., Jordan Albright and Aaron Albright both of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Debra Faye Spradlin (Ken) of Conway, Ark. Two brothers also preceded him in death.
Nellie Jean Cothran Trice
Nellie Jean Cothran Trice, age 72, passed away Sept. 3, 2010, at her residence in Starkville.
She was a supervisor for J.C. Penney Department Store and a member of Grace Community Church. She was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John Wesley Cothran and Sallie Lou Powell Cothran; and husband, Nero Trice.

Janice McClure Bowen Smith
Janice McClure Bowen Smith, age 72, passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at the Care Center of Aberdeen.
Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 18, 1938, to George Daggett McClure and Mae Elizabeth Bradley McClure in West Point. She lived most of her life in Aberdeen and in West Point since 1994. Mrs. Smith graduated from West Point High School and attended MSCW in Columbus. She was a member of Aberdeen First Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Lucile Dexter Friday
Lucile Dexter Friday, age 97, passed away, Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle, in Columbus.
Lucile Dexter Friday was born Nov. 18, 1912, in Clay County to the late Daisy Beatrice Lofton and Eugene Hamilton Dexter. Mrs. Friday was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in West Point. Lucille Friday married Curtis Roy Friday, Jr. on Dec. 26, 1940, at the Church of the Resurrection in Starkville. He predeceased her on June 24, 1986.

passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Calvert Funeral Home in West Point.

Mark D. Ferguson
Mark D. Ferguson, age 68, passed away, Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at his home in Columbus. Mark Del Ferguson was born Jan. 9, 1942, in Yale, Okla., to Leonard Haden Ferguson and the late Jack W. Ferguson Sr. Mr. Ferguson was a Rotational Molder, and founder of Kricket Manufacturing. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Ferguson was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Captain during the Vietnam War. Mark Del Ferguson married Kaylan Marie Roberts Ferguson Nov. 5, 1971, in Dallas, Texas
Elizabeth Waudine Langston
Elizabeth Waudine Langston, age 81, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Trinity Baptist Church in Carthage, with Bro. Andy May officiating, burial will follow in Leake Memorial Gardens.
Wilcox Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Langston was a native of Carthage, a member of Pearl Hill Baptist Church and a retired C.N.A. at Leake Memorial Hospital.

John Dixon Jr., age 84, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at 2 p.m. from New St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Judias Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.
Visitation is Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.
