Mary Pauline Langford Jarrell
Mary Pauline Langford Jarrell, age 57, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Mary Pauline Langford Jarrell was born July 26, 1953, in Clay County to the late Eunice Gay Hudson and William Thomas Langford. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Her husband Robert Jarrell predeceased her.
Funeral services are today, Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Mike Fondren officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Bluff Cemetery near Mantee.
Harold Davenport, age 51, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services are Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Hopewell M.B. Church in Cedar Bluff. The Rev. Dossie Gates will officiate and burial will follow in Hopewell M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today, from 3 â€“ 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.
Carter's Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements.
John Edward Lambeth
John Edward Lambeth, yacht captain and award-winning journalist, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at his home in Gulfport. He was 62.
Jessie Albert McCoy
Jessie Albert McCoy, age 64, died Sept. 14, 2010, at the Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville.
Mr. McCoy was born in Starkville Sept. 14, 1946, to Dennis Howe McCoy and Audrey Estelle (Wilson) McCoy. He was a 1965 graduate of Starkville High School and a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. He served in the Mississippi National Guard. Mr. McCoy was a truck driver for Bryan Foods for many years. He enjoyed collecting coins, Coca Cola and John Deere items.
Hattie Mae Weatherly Jones
Hattie Mae Weatherly Jones, age 68, passed away, Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Mississippi Care Center of Greenville. Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Southside Baptist Church in Benoit, at 11 a.m. with John Reed officiating. Visitation was 10 â€“ 11 a.m. before the service Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Southside Baptist Church in Benoit. Burial followed the funeral in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville.
Faye Shaw Duncan
Faye Shaw Duncan, age 80, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at The Arrington in Columbus.
She was a retired Eupora First Baptist Church secretary.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Eupora First Baptist Church with burial in the Embry Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation is 6 - 8 p.m. today at Oliver Funeral Home. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
Carsie Clark Young
Carsie Clark Young, age 77, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Calvert Funeral Home in West Point.

David Lee Albright
David Lee Albright, age 50, passed away, Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, in the Tibbee Community.
He was born Aug. 2, 1960, in Flint, Mich., to the late Charlotte Faye McCraw and John Rufus Albright.
He was a golf cart technician.
No services or visitation will be held; Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three sons: Ryan David Albright of West Palm Beach, Fla., Jordan Albright and Aaron Albright both of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Debra Faye Spradlin (Ken) of Conway, Ark. Two brothers also preceded him in death.
Nellie Jean Cothran Trice
Nellie Jean Cothran Trice, age 72, passed away Sept. 3, 2010, at her residence in Starkville.
She was a supervisor for J.C. Penney Department Store and a member of Grace Community Church. She was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John Wesley Cothran and Sallie Lou Powell Cothran; and husband, Nero Trice.
Janice McClure Bowen Smith
Janice McClure Bowen Smith, age 72, passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at the Care Center of Aberdeen.
Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 18, 1938, to George Daggett McClure and Mae Elizabeth Bradley McClure in West Point. She lived most of her life in Aberdeen and in West Point since 1994. Mrs. Smith graduated from West Point High School and attended MSCW in Columbus. She was a member of Aberdeen First Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
