passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Calvert Funeral Home in West Point.
Calvert Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Mark D. Ferguson
Mark D. Ferguson, age 68, passed away, Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at his home in Columbus. Mark Del Ferguson was born Jan. 9, 1942, in Yale, Okla., to Leonard Haden Ferguson and the late Jack W. Ferguson Sr. Mr. Ferguson was a Rotational Molder, and founder of Kricket Manufacturing. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Ferguson was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Captain during the Vietnam War. Mark Del Ferguson married Kaylan Marie Roberts Ferguson Nov. 5, 1971, in Dallas, Texas
Elizabeth Waudine Langston
Elizabeth Waudine Langston, age 81, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Trinity Baptist Church in Carthage, with Bro. Andy May officiating, burial will follow in Leake Memorial Gardens.
Wilcox Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Langston was a native of Carthage, a member of Pearl Hill Baptist Church and a retired C.N.A. at Leake Memorial Hospital.

John Dixon Jr., age 84, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at 2 p.m. from New St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Judias Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.
Visitation is Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.
Carter's Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements.

Nanette Dodson Rainey
Nanette Dodson Rainey, age 93, passed away Monday Aug. 23, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Rainey was born July 25, 1917, in Dossville, to the late George Dodson and Exa Cook. She was a member of First Methodist Church and helped start Pink Ladies and Sally Kate Winters Memorial Children’s Home.
A memorial service is Thursday Aug. 26, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Robinson Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating.
William Stevens Lofton
William Stevens Lofton, age 92, passed away Tuesday Aug. 24, 2010, at West Point Community Living Center.
He was born Nov. 6, 1917, in Clay County to the late William Neal Lofton and Ruby Anna Stevens. He was a lifelong resident of Beasley Community and a member of Palestine Methodist Church. Mr. Lofton was a carpenter and a farmer and worked at B&W for several years.
Thomas Jefferson Rodgers Jr., age 84, passed away on Monday Aug. 23, 2010, at Darlington Oakes in Verona. He was born in Mansfield, Ark., on Feb. 20, 1926, to Thomas J. Rodgers Sr. and Sudie Mae Neely. Mr. Rodgers was owner of TJ’s Army-Navy Surplus store for many years. He was retired from the United States Naval Reserve having served in WWII.
Funeral services are Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Robinson Chapel with the Rev. R.C. Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.
Visitation is today, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home.
