Hugh Milton Moore
Hugh Milton Moore, age 82, passed away, Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at his home, in the Palestine Community.
Hugh Milton Moore was born Oct. 18, 1928, in Montpelier to the late Maggie Lou Pate Moore and Charles Andrew Moore. Hugh M. Moore worked in management for Babcock & Wilcox Company for 38 years and was also a lifelong farmer. Hugh M. Moore married Ruth Alice Madison Moore on Oct. 5, 1951, in Prairie.

Charlie Mae Carter
Charlie Mae Carter, age 62, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Hermon M.B. Church, with the Rev. George Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Stronghill Stockholder's Cemetery.
Visitation is today, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Stronghill M.B. Church.
Ora Lee Kilgore-Jones
Ora Lee Kilgore-Jones, age 62, passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at 3 p.m. from Callahan M.B. Church in Woodland, the Rev. William Ivy will be officiating. Burial will follow in Callahan M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today, from 3 – 6 p.m. from Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel

Jeanette Weathers Sanders
Jeanette Weathers Sanders, age 85, passed away at the Ennis Care Center in Ennis, Texas on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Atwood, Ala., on Mar. 20, 1925, to Alonzo Marcus and Dorena (Bingham) Weathers. She grew up in West Point and graduated from the West Point School System. On Dec. 3, 1945, she married William H. Sanders and they originally made their home in Baton Rouge, La. They lived in several different cities
Kaye Alexander
Kaye Alexander, age 60, passed away, Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at her residence in West Point.
Elizabeth Kaye Alexander was born Dec. 21, 1949, in Amory, to the late Bertie Lou Tate Shields and Elizie Byrd Shields.
Ms. Alexander was a loan officer and secretary for Renasant Bank where she began in 1978. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Point.
Vincent Otis Tubbs
Vincent Otis Tubbs, age 44, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Universal Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services are Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at 1 p.m. from Third Mt. Olive M.B. Church, with the Rev. Al Lathan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is today, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.

Mattie Lou Jones, age 63, passed away Tuesday. Oct. 26, 2010.
