Walker, Ellison Engagement
Zack and Tookie Walker of Pheba, Miss., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Audrey Lynn Walker, to Richard Blake Ellison, son of Tom Ellison, of Madison, Miss., and Jill Nelson, of Clarkson, Miss.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Cannon, and the late L.W. and Mary Walker.
She is a 2006 graduate of Hebron Christian School, and received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management, Insurance and Financial Planning from Mississippi State University.

Ware, Smith Wedding
Emily Ware and Neal Ray Smith Jr., were united in marriage Monday, June 27, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in a small, private ceremony on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, at Orange Beach, Ala. The minister Glenn Henson officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Teresa and Durwood Ware.
The bride was given in marriage by her daughter, Faith Christine Coggins.
She carried a bouquet of Gerber Daisies.
Parents of the groom are Linda Odom Smith and Neal Ray Smith Sr.
The best man was Mitchell Hunter Smith, son of the groom.
Scott, Dent Engagement
Jannie Davis of West Point is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her niece, Octavia G. Scott, niece of the late Joseph Davis, to Johnny L. Dent, son of Betty Wilson of West Point and the late Ricky Wilson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rev. Alfred and Lula Gage.
She is a 1992 graduate of West Point High School and is a 2006 graduate of East Mississippi Community College in Mayhew with an Associates Degree in Medical Office Technology.

Parker Selected for Governor's School
Zane Parker III, has been selected to participate in the 2011 session of the Mississippi's Governor's School. The Governor's School is a residential honors program established in 1981 by Governor William F. Winter at Mississippi University for Women. The Governor's School is designed to provide academic, creative and leadership experiences for a limited number of high school juniors and seniors who have demonstrated exceptional ability and achievement in their studies and who show high intellectual, creative and leadership potential.
