Carruthers Turns 80
Eliza Carruthers turned 80 years old Friday Nov. 18. She celebrated her birthday with family and friends Nov. 12, at Ryan's Steak House in Columbus, including her husband, James Carruthers and their five children, Mildred Griffin, Dorothy McQuarters, Rickey Cannon, Carolyn Donald and Janice Tillman, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Jim and Jennifer Swoope of West Point, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Mollie Katherine Swoope, Sept. 15, 2011, at 4:44 a.m. at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Randy and Leah Montgomery of West Point.
Paternal grandparents are Edward Swoope of West Point and the late Mary Drake Batton Swoope.

Barry and Abby Lewis of Bossier City, La., would like to announce the birth of their daughter Sofi Clair Lewis Feb. 10, 2011, at Willis-Knighting, Bossier City, La. She weighed 7 pounds, 8ounces and was 20 inches long.
