April 23, 2013

Chocolate and peanut butter - does a more perfect combination exist?
My boyfriend’s birthday was this weekend and when I asked what kind of cake he wanted, he said “I don’t care, whatever,” which I understood as “Chocolate and peanut butter!”

Summerall: A picture is worth...

April 20, 2013

I was thinking some more about taking pictures of our children especially when they are babies. There is nothing they can do that you don’t think is amazing. My neighbor (I’ll call her Brenda for the sake of anonymity) is one of the best things that ever happened to me. She moved into my declining neighborhood and everything changed including my ability to grow good ole summer ‘maters despite a lack of ample sun and a thumb that will only turn green if I spray paint it.
