I have to be totally honest and say that sometimes I’m at a loss for something to do. It doesn’t happen often, or not often enough. This week was not one. I spent almost every morning at the high school taking pictures of the kids for the anti-bullying campaign. I thought it was a great way to make kids think about how they treat one another. I was very pleased that Principal Mario Willis asked me to come and was so gracious in helping me find the right kids. I had a good time with students.
Theresa Bailey’s class had been saving their pennies, change, and dollars for their 100th day of School Celebration. They goal was to raise $100 for the 100th day of school to go to the West Point Animal Shelter. They raised the $100 and to accept the money and to show their appreciation WPCCAS Director Lisa Henley brought puppies Merle and Miller in to visit with the Church Hill students. Their donation along with another donation aided in the Heartworm treatment of another dog named Dakota, who was very sick.
