The Pilot Club of West Point met Tuesday night to discuss ad and ticket sales for the upcoming Legends event scheduled for March 2. This years theme is â€śOne Hit Wondersâ€ť and the venue is changing from The Civic to the Community Counseling Services Auditorium, formerly the gymnasium on the Mary Holmes College campus. The pilots are hoping for a large turnout from the community for the night of fun, music and entertainment.
I was born a skeptic. The weather man says it will snow and I scoff because frankly, it typically only snows when there has been no mention of it in the forecast.
The guy from the â€śGuvmentâ€ť says heâ€™s here to help and I let out a unladylike hoot, because we all know thatâ€™s unlikely.
But on the road to skepticism Iâ€™ve had to pass through the valley ofgullibility which materializes when I hear about something healthy that is also fun and tasty.
How can you make 2013 the best year of your life if you are exhausted all of the time? If we are going to start the year strong, we should start by looking at some common energy thieves and figure out ways to lock them up.
1. Rule out health
Fatigue is a common symptom of many illnesses, including diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, anemia, thyroid disease, and sleep apnea. Talk to your doctor if you feel unusually tired.
