No one injured in drive-by incident: Police now in search of shooter

A Saturday night drive-by shooting could have resulted in the injuries or deaths of multiple victims but police say thankfully no one was harmed.

Caller threatens to “blow up” Popeyes

Dozens of terrified employees and patrons of Popeyes of West Point were evacuated from the restaurant late Sunday night shortly after an employee picked up the phone only to receive an eery message that the restaurant would soon be bombed.

Franks surrenders to police

June 17, 2013

A West Point man, who was wanted in connection to a June 7 burglary, turned himself in to West Point police Friday after the Daily Times Leader ran a report about the incident.
