Baldwin a survivor, advocate for MS awareness

It’s been seven years since Gayva Baldwin was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
When she first started to fight the disease, the battle seemed impossible to defeat. She lost all feeling in her right side, and she was forced to walk with a cane before the age of 30.

Smith murder trial postponed

April 8, 2013

A West Point man accused of stabbing another man in 2011 at a club pleaded with Judge Jim Kitchens Monday to go forward with his trial, but despite the suspect’s earnest pleas the court postponed the trial.
