Why is West Clay Elementary Principal Sandra Murray being fired?
The heated question was raised by several concerned citizens and parents Thursday night who demand an answer as to why the Clay County School Board is allegedly not renewing Murray's principal contract for the upcoming school year.
It's all about the children.
And parents and community leaders are striving each day, putting their heads together to come up with ways to make West Point a better place for children to live and grow with their parents, many of which need a loving, helping hand in raising their children.
Handling dozens and dozens of misdemeanor court cases isn't at all easy, especially for the West Point Municipal Court staff who often has to stay past 5 p.m. on Tuesday when cases are heard, working well into the evening hours on numerous cases.
