Approximately 906 customers in Clay County are now under a boil water notice, according to the Mississippi State Department of Health.
The notice issued on Thursday morning warns customers under the Siloam Water Association No. 3-Beasley Well to boil their water before drinking.
A check valve malfunction produced a system-wide pressure loss.
