The West Point Police Department is on the search for suspects responsible for the eight automobile burglaries that occurred in West Point Wednesday and Thursday nights, which brings the number of automobile burglaries that have happened in the city over the last three weeks to approximately sixteen.
July 19th
The first reading of the policy for the netbook computer program I.M.P.A.C.T. was given Monday to the West Point School Board of Trustees by Chris Carter, Information Technology director for the school district.
The cost of school lunches in the West Point School District is going up 50 cents this year for students who pay full price for their meals, which may be a burden for some parents.

Three little girls from West Point are alive today after being saved Monday morning from a fire that shot through the storage room and the attic of a home, which they were asleep in, when the fire began.
