Robert Lee (Rab) Woodard, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013, at his home in Houston.
Funeral services are Saturday, January 12. 2013, at 2 p.m. at Centerhill M.B. Church in Houston. Burial will follow in the Palestine Church Cemetery in Van Vleet.
The body will lie at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Carter Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
The Clay County Sheriff Department needs your help in locating a 2010 Red/Black Polaris 550 Sportsman 4-Wheeler (Serial Number 4XAZN55A0AA004897) that was stolen from a residence on the morning of Jan. 8 on Old Highway 50 East.

A few weeks ago Clay County District 4 Supervisor Shelton Deanes advised other Clay County supervisors that the county should not wait around for funding before coming up with a project on which those funds could be used. And Thursday, during the Clay County Board of Supervisorsâ€™ second meeting of the new year, the message was delivered once again.
On Tuesday, West Point Democrat (House District 36) David Gibbs had a hand-written note delivered to Mississippi House Speaker Phillip Gunn explaining that he was resigning from the state legislature after 19 years of representing Clay, Lowndes and Monroe Counties.
By Wednesday, the legislature, which began a three-month session on Tuesday, was busy researching whether Gibbs' resignation could be rescinded.

The city of West Point is giving Comcast only a few more weeks to act on a service contract with the city before the city passes a resolution to remove all of Comcastâ€™s attachments on city-owned utility poles.
Paying only $1.50 per pole is no longer an option and is no longer acceptable to the city, which is now asking Comcast to sign a contract through which Comcast would pay $15 per pole. The Pilot Club of West Point met Tuesday night to discuss ad and ticket sales for the upcoming Legends event scheduled for March 2.
