CANTON — The Oak Hill Lady Raider basketball team dropped its two preseason basketball games against Veritas School and Simpson Academy Thursday and Saturday, respectively, at the Canton Academy Preseason Tournament.
Oak Hill only returns one starter from the 2012-13 season in senior point guard Maegan Ellis – a key cog in the Lady Raiders 30-win season and Class-AA fourth-place finish.
The Lady Raiders committed 45 combined turnovers in both losses, which Oak Hill Head Coach Stan Hughey cited as a problem that is fixable in the coming months.
