Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Shady Grove Abbott M.B. Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Abbott M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, one hour prior to service time at Shady Grove Abbott M.B. Church.

Nathaniel Hardy, age 79, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Mt. Zion M.B. Church in White Station. The deceased will lie in state from 10 a.m. - service time. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion M.B. Church Cemetery.

Clora Dell Foy-Quinn, age 57, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services are Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. from St. Paul M.B. Church, with the Rev. Eddie Longstreet officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, from 3 – 4 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.

Alma Carolin Hall Stermer, age 82, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at Baptist Medical Center Downtown, Jacksonville, Fla.
Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in West Point Memorial Garden Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Merilyn Rae Gallaher
Merilyn Rae Gallaher, age 47, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at her home, in the Montpelier community.
She was born May 23, 1964, in West Point, to Meriam Pate Jones and Charles Ray Gallaher and was a homemaker. Merilyn Rae Gallaher was a member of Montpelier Baptist Church. Her grandparents, Mac and Frances Pate, Charlie and Daisy Gallaher also preceded her in death.
Tatar, Hughes Wedding
Stacey Dawn Tatar and Robert Gilliland Hughes exchanged wedding vows Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 6 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn., in a lovely summer ceremony. The altar was backed by arrangements of pink and ivory roses. The flowers were placed in loving memory of the bride's sister, Michelle Tatar.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. James K. Polk VanZandt. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Tatar of Steubenville, Ohio. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Collins Hughes of West Point.

Ora B. Glass, age 86, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Vista East Hospital of Waukegan, Ill.
Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Bridges Chapel Baptist Church in Pittsboro, with the Rev. Tommy Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in Clear Springs Cemetery in Big Creek.
Visitation is Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, on hour prior to service time at the church.

Willie Mae R. Deanes, age 60, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point.
Willie Mae R. Deans was born Feb. 24, 1951, in Monroe County, to Willie K. Randle and Ella Holiday Randle. She was a member of Third Union M.B. Church.
Funeral services are Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at 1 p.m. from the U.F.C.W. Local #1991 Bryan Union Hall, with the Rev. John C. Harris Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Palo Alto M.B. Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter's Mortuary Services Chapel.
Cheryl Lynn Thompson Williams
Cheryl Lynn Thompson Williams, age 58, passed away, Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at OCH Regional Medical Center, in Starkville.
Cheryl Lynn Williams was born Dec. 21, 1953, in Bethesda, Md., to Norma Sharp Thompson and Earl "Bub" Thompson. She was a retired Rural Mail Carrier in Starkville and a member of Pheba Baptist Church. She loved working outdoors in her yard, as well as camping and fishing. More particularly
working with her father in the Bee and Honey business.

Angelo Butler, age 59, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center of Tupelo.
