The Oak Hill Academy Raiders (3-2; 1-1) had 277 total offensive yards on Friday night agains the Winona Christian Stars.
After winning their first two games, the Raiders suffered back-to-back losses, including a district game last Friday against Manchester. Oak Hill had lost the focus and discipline it had the first two games against Newton County and Winston.
That was not the case on Friday night. Oak Hill won handily 21-6 against the Stars.
Friday night saw an incredibly hard-fought loss for West Point. In what was an almost entirely defensive game against Noxubee County, West Point struggled for every inch of the field gain on offense and dug in deep to keep as much of the field as possible on defense.
Hebron Christian hosted Mt. Salus from Clinton, Mississippi, in this week five high school football game. The Eagles held Homecoming festivities Friday night and crowned Miss Tapley as their queen.
After the pregame crowning, the Eagles took to the field where all aspects of their game were hitting on all cylinders. Both offensively and defensively, Hebron entertained their fans and gave them something to go home happy about. Hebron defeated Mt. Salus 36-8 bringing their record on the season to 5-0.
