Merchant, Ingram Engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Greg Merchant of Columbus, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rae Anne Merchant, daughter of the late Melissa Hyer Jones, to Jason Eugene Ingram, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Ingram of West Point.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sue Merchant of Columbus and the late Bobby Merchant, and Mrs. Virginia Hyer of Leland, and the late Donald Hyer.

Mrs. Thomas Lawler Word III, of West Point, is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Jennifer Suzanne Word, daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Lawler Word III, to Dr. Earl Thompson Stubblefield Jr., the son of Dr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson Stubblefield Sr., of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Simril Howell, and Mrs. Thomas Lawler Word Jr. of Okolona, and the late Mr. Word.
Bradshaw, Jefferson Engagement
Charlie and Judy Bradshaw of West Point, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Charlise Bradshaw, to Andreekous Jefferson, son of Charlene J. Gladney of Pheba, and Norman Jefferson of Hopewell.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charlie Bradshaw of West Point and the late Mary Earl Bradshaw, and the late Brack and Willie Mae Swift.
Robert Dale Bowen
Robert Dale Bowen, age 54, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012, at his home in West Point. after an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 7, 1958, to Robert and Jean Bowen in Farmington, N.M. He was a member of Cross Point Church in Starkville.
A celebration service is 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Aberdeen. Pastors Scott Cappleman and Paul Matthews will be officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Tisdale Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.
Carey Brian Tribble
Carey Brian Tribble, age 57, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012, at his home, in Cedar Bluff.
He was an offshore oil worker in the Mississippi Gulf of Mexico. Carey Brian Tribble was born Oct. 1, 1954, in Clay County, to Betty Frances O'Brian Tribble and the late George Williamson Tribble. He was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.
Memorial Funeral Services are today, Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd Chesser. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery Cedar Bluff.
Evelyn Lois Searcy
Evelyn Lois Searcy, 79, of Jacksonville, Fla., and formerly of Whitier, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Jasper Carter and Elvie Lois Henderson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Hilton B. Searcy.
