WEATHER ALERT

December 24, 2012

Weather reports indicate that a low-pressure system will cause thunderstorms, some possibly severe, on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service is warning that the system will begin to move in the early-morning hours, with showers starting to fall at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
By mid-afternoon, some of the storms may become severe throughout the state, although weather reports indicate that most of the severe weather will occure below Interstate 20.
However, Clay County residents need to be prepared for severe weather that may include tornados, hail or damaging winds.
